The Whipping Boy

Page history last edited by Doretta Lambert 14 years, 4 months ago

The Whipping Boy is the story about a boy who takes the place of a prince.

The prince is naughty, but because he is the prince, he must never be "whipped."

The whipping boy, instead, takes the prince's place and is whipped.

The whipping boy gets whipped when the prince gets in trouble. The prince can' t get spanked so thats why the whipping boy has to be whipped. Cutwater and Hold-Your-Nose Billy thought that the whipping boy was the prince and the prince was the whipping boy. I learned that it is not fair back in the old days. I want to learn these words bramble, cobbled and contemplated.

I think if I was a whipping boy. I would run away the first day. Then I would sell stuff that I made out of junk.

The whipping boy gets whipped every day because prince Brat gets in trouble every single day. We'll one morning the prince ran away, and the whipping boy followed him away.
