Flora is the main character of the story. Its about when a mouse named flora goes to school and learns how to read. Then she finds a bottle then she opened it and it was blue pills that can kill mice. Then she tries  to warn them not to eat them. But when she goes to the 1st grade class room she finds that her brother had eaten the blue pills! Then she says that the pills can kill mice! But he said that he didn't believe her. Then she asked him how many he ate? He said he ate about 10 pills! Then she told her mom and dad that the pills are poison. Then the mom mouse asked if she is going with her to move away from the school forever. Flora said no I'm staying here at the school. Then the mother said fine have it your way flora. I'm going to leave right now! Then she left to a haystack. Then a owl came looking for something to eat. But the dad mouse fought the owl and the owl flue  away. Then a weasel came and atacked 8 of the baby mice. Then the last baby mouse was love in mist,the mom mouse and the dad mouse. Then the dad beat up the weasel and the weasel was hurt badly the dad mouse was hurt also.
