Exploring the World We Live In

Our Social Studies learning kicked off with a "shuttle to outer space."  Students learned how earth is divided into sections: northern, southern, eastern, and western hemispheres.  They further explored oceans, continents, and states.  Listen to students as they share their findings.

October 8th was German Day at Highland Elementary.  Eighteen German exchange students visited our classrooms, sharing their country, language, and customs.  Below are some videos of the visit.
